The Girl Scouts introduced a new flavor, Raspberry Rally, as an “online exclusive,” and it sold out almost immediately. The Girl Scouts say it was “more popular than anticipated.”
So people who did get boxes of Raspberry Rally are re-selling them online at inflated prices! There are hundreds of boxes on eBay, and most of them are going for around $25 to $30: five times more than the Girl Scout price. And some scalpers are asking for $100 or more!
Can you say Raspberrylicious?! Say hello to Raspberry Rally™ 👋, the newest addition to the Girl Scout Cookie family. 🎉 https://t.co/B6cewTe9jZ #RaspberryRally pic.twitter.com/MUZK364ukw

The Girl Scouts are NOT happy about this. They say that when cookies are purchased through third-party sellers, the troops don’t get a share of that money. And they can’t vouch for the condition of those boxes.
eBay will not take the listings down. They say, “We strongly support the entrepreneurial spirit of hardworking local Girl Scout troops… however the sale of Girl Scout cookies does not violate eBay policies.”
