We love a heartwarming animal story… so here’s one from the west burbs!

A semi-trucker saved a three-year-old dog named Major from euthanasia when he adopted him from the Naperville Area Humane Society in Quincy. The dog had been with the shelter for 372 days.

That trucker was already traveling all over the United States with another dog who had just recently passed away. So now he’s got a new lovable pet to keep him company in his cab.
