If you don’t personally love ketchup, it’s likely you know at least one person who does. Now sliced ketchup is a thing that exists. Los Angeles-based food entrepreneur Emily Williams calls her creation the Slice of Sauce, and she’s currently crowdsourcing funds on Kickstarter in an effort to get the product into production.
Williams says of the portable ketchup slices, “The slice is going to revolutionize the way we sauce. But it’s also all-natural, no preservatives. This flavor is the real deal.” So far the internet is divided over the idea, with one Twitter user writing, “I don’t want a ketchup fruit roll-up or anything that resembles a processed slice of ketchup. If someone I know is using this new product, I will disown them in public.”
