Chicago federal judge tosses McDonald’s ‘Extra Value Meal’ class action lawsuit

Kelly Killeen attempted to sue McDonald’s when she proposed an ‘Extra Value Meal’ item is scamming customers.  The item in question was the sausage burrito breakfast.  Killeen clarified in a class-action lawsuit that the including the item in the ‘Extra Value Meal,’ which includes two sausage burritos, hash browns and a coffee, costs more than when all of the items are bought separately.

While the meal doesn’t seem to exemplify, “Extra Value,” Chicago Federal Judge Elaine Bucklo tossed the case due to the prices of all related items being on display to all customers.  So next time you’re about to order for the Extra Value Menu, do some math and make sure you’re getting the best deal for your dollar.
