Six Flags Great American has announced the park will stay open through the holiday season.  Holiday at the Park is the first time in 42 years that Six Flags will celebrate Christmas and New Year Eve.

The park has announced “Six Flags is creating a new season of thrills as the park is transformed into a winter wonderland with a million dazzling lights and all the magical sights, sounds and tastes of the holidays,” said Park President, Hank Salemi.  Holiday in the Park will premiere on Friday, November 23rd and run weekends through Sunday, December 23rd then daily December 26th through December 31st.
