Google’s been working on big overhauls to Gmail, including emails that can expire after they’re sent. Essentially, after a user-chosen amount of time that could be one week to multiple years in the future, an email can be rendered unreadable. According to Techcrunch, emails will also be configurable to prevent forwards, copy-and-paste, downloads and printability.
It’s not ready for public use yet… and it’s not yet clear if these features will only exist on Gmail platforms.
