After 160 years in Chicago, Carson Pirie Scott will close its department stores for good. The business that has been here for more than 160 years is liquidating it’s stores after falling into bankruptcy.
The 22 Chicago-area Carson stores will be closed by the end of August. With the 2018 closing of Carson’s and Toys R Us, Christmas shopping will never be the same.
