Chili’s Grill & Bar has been hit by a data breach, revealing that what it calls a “data incident” may have exposed customers’ credit or debit card information and cardholder names. The breach was discovered on Friday (May 11th), and is believed to have take place earlier this year, between March and April.

The restaurant chain said it’s working with forensic experts to determine the extent of the breach. However, it noted that since Chili’s doesn’t collect information like Social Security numbers or dates of birth from its customers, that kind of personal information hasn’t been compromised.
