The Cher Show is getting its tryout here on Broadway Chicago before heading to NYC and the diva herself snuck into the Oriental Theatre over the weekend to check it out.
And somehow she wasn’t spotted!!
I have a theory of how that happened. Take a look at that picture…
That’s NOT Cher. It’s a drag queen from RuPaul’s Drag Race. Cher is a VERY popular artist for drag queens and it was Pride Parade weekend. So people probably just assumed it wasn’t the real Cher.
But the real Cher was very much there and even had a moment with the three actresses that play her in the show…yes, it takes three actresses to play Cher. That’s how amazing she is!
