Pilsen, you’re looking pretty cool.  Forbes has released their ‘Top 12 Coolest Neighborhoods list‘ and a Chicago neighborhood has ranked in the list.  The list includes neighborhoods from all over the world: from Athens’ Keramikos to Seoul’s Seongsu-dong to Panama City’s Casco Viejo.  What made this local neighborhood a contender?  Forbes says, “Featuring streets lined with hip galleries and walls decorated with colorful murals dating from the 1970s, the Pilsen neighborhood on Chicago’s Lower West Side is a nest of cutting-edge culture and art.”  Go paint some walls and maybe your neighborhood will be half as cool as Pilsen.  See the full list of ‘The 12 Coolest Neighborhoods’ at Forbes.com.
