Lee Lumber closes it’s doors for good after 65 years in Chicago

The largest lumberyard in Chicago and South Side staple, Lee Lumber is closing.  A sign on their front door has read that they will close Tuesday, October 23rd and the day has come.  Lee Lumber was one of the longest lasting of hit’s kind.  The Chicago business has held out as long as it can, having been here since 1952, but it won’t be seeing 2019.  Goodbye Lee Lumber.
