In case you find beeping to be too boring, Tesla cars are soon going to have new customized horn and movement sounds. On Sunday (October 6th) Tesla CEO Elon Musk tweeted about the change, noting that fart and goat sounds will be among the options. It’s thought that Tesla owners might be able to change their vehicle sounds to whatever “customized” sounds they so choose. The horn sounds are just for drivers’ amusement, but the movement sounds are a feature that could help cut down on injury rates, as fully electric cars don’t make a lot of noise while driving.
