About The Show

Cara Carriveau’s familiar voice has been part of the Chicago radio landscape for more than three decades. She has been happily providing your weekend soundtrack on 94.7 WLS since 2019.

Cara’s passion for live music fuels her frequent trips to concerts. She loves immersing herself in the energy of the crowd and experiencing live performances of the songs she loves to play on the radio. She just became an empty nester, which now allows her even more time for concerts!

When she’s not at a show, #HandyCara is likely tackling a home improvement project, taking a Pilates class, discovering a new favorite bourbon, or snuggling her fur-baby, Ambrose.
