Red Dawn (1984) – Before Jennifer Grey and Patrick Swayze were paired up in Dirty Dancing, they were fighting an invading force of Russians, Cubans and Nicaraguans in the 1984 action film, Red Dawn. We see Grey join The Wolverines as they take on this enemy army and attempt to escape their hometown to a free America.
Ferris Bueller’s Day Off (1986) – Grey starred in one of the most Chicago-ist movies ever! Unfortunately, she didn’t get to join in at the street parade or Cubs game. While the mischievous Ferris Bueller takes a day to galavant around the Windy City, his frustrated older sister (played by Jennifer Grey) is stuck trying to expose his scheme.
Wind (1992) – This action/adventure/romance movie sees Jennifer Grey take to the high seas in this Yacht racing film. An upstart team attempts to win back America’s Cup for the United States in this international boat race.
