ABC 7 Chicago‘s chopper spotted an American icon when flying over Busse Woods in Elk Grove Village.

The eagle has nested there and may stick around for several years.  Recently, a bald eagle was also seen in Clarendon Hills.  They’re so cool, I hope we get more!!
