It’s official: “Spider-Man: No Way Home” has surpassed “Avatar” in the domestic box office and now sits at the #3 spot.  It’s earned $761 million so far, while “Avatar” made $760.5 million.

“Star Wars: The Force Awakens” sits at #1 with $936.7 million and “Avengers: Endgame” is #2 with $858.4 million.  So it’ll take an additional $100 million for Spidey to move up the ranks.

On a GLOBAL scale, “Spider-Man” has earned $1.8 billion, which is good for sixth place and it hasn’t even hit theaters in China yet! 

 “Avatar” is #1 worldwide with $2.84 billion.
