We love our Cubbies, but we don’t love their prices…
It’s MLB Opening Day as well as the Chicago Cubs‘ home opener. And while a lot of us have missed watching the boys in blue play, we may not be rushing to spend a ton of money to watch their games in person.
Time2Play determined the most and least expensive MLB teams to see play. They based these findings on the metrics of only ticket prices and ticket prices plus 2 beers plus one hot dog plus parking. At the very top of the list were the Chicago Cubs.
The Cubs did not have the most expensive stadium tickets, in fact, they didn’t even have the most expensive parking, hot dog, or beer. But, their numbers were so high across the board for each item, that it placed Cubs in the top seat.
The Chicago White Sox were in the upper end of the middle of the pack and the least expensive team to see play is the Arizona Diamondbacks.
