Chicago's Architectural Tour, Underground Doughnut Tour, and Art Institute named 3 of the best things to do in the U.S.

It’s summer, so you’re definitely looking for things to do. Luck you: Three of the, “best things to do,” are right here in Chicago.

Tripadvisor put out a series of lists for the best things to do in the U.S. These lists were divided into categories including top food experiences and top sailing and day cruises.

NBC 5 Chicago found the best things in Chicago that were scattered among those lists. Two of those are obvious picks and one might be a surprise to you.

Both the Chicago River’s Architectural Tour and the Art Institute of Chicago made it on Tripadvisor’s Bests. But also, so did the Underground Doughnut Tour. Did you even know Chicago has an Underground Doughnut Tour?
