Deadline reports that Harrison Ford is set to star as Thaddeus “Thunderbolt” Ross in the new Captain America film.
He’ll be starring in Captain America: New World Order opposite Anthony Mackie, alongside Shira Haas, Tim Blake Nelson, and Carl Lumbly.
Comic fans will know that not only has Thunderbolt Ross served as a longtime antagonist of the Incredible Hulk but also became the Red Hulk in 2008. So, we may see Ford turn into a big red monster in this next movie!
William Hurt played the role of Thunderbolt Ross since 2008, appearing in five Marvel films as the former Hulk-hunting general turned US Secretary of State. He passed away in March this year.
