Just a friendly reminder to check your kids’ Halloween candy load.

Police in South Chicago Heights say a 25-year-old may have handed out cannabis edibles to trick-or-treaters when he ran out of candy. There are no reports of any children consuming the yellow edibles.

The candy in question is being tested in a crime lab.
