Two Indiana child siblings being called ‘Halloween Heroes’ for adding their candy to an empty Halloween Trick-or-Treat basket

Halloween is over and while Jimmy Kimmel is sharing videos of parents telling their kids they ate all their candy, a more wholesome trick-or-treat video is going viral…

Siblings Camden and Macie Chesner from Hammond, Indiana were recorded on a house security cam when they came across an empty trick-or-treat basket outside the home. The two could have just moved on to the next house, but instead, they took candy out of their own bags and put it into the basket for the next trick-or-treaters.

The homeowner shared the video online. Fitting as when interviewed about the selfless deed, young Camden said “I once saw something on YouTube and it was someone giving someone’s candy bowl like a teenager took all the candy from it. So I was thinking it would be nice too and also do that.” Maybe Camden and Macie’s act will inspire more children to do good deeds.
