Christkindlmarket Chicago was ranked the 3rd Best Christmas market in the world by Big 7 Travel. They call it, “a real German-inspired affair,” citing the market’s, “steaming cups of glühwein, bratwurst, and sugar-coated pastries,” as a must.
Chicago’s Christkindlmarket was only beaten by Winter Wonders in Brussels, Belgium, and Gendarmenmarkt in Berlin, Germany which took the number 1 and 2 spots respectively.
This year, you’ll find Christkindlmarket in its usual Daley Plaza location as well as in Aurora and in Wrigleyville (which has skating in the stadium!). Find event info here.
