There are so few things in life that cause you to close your eyes and make inappropriate noises as you chew.
Portillo’s chocolate cake is one of them.
I’m almost embarrassed to be in public when I start stuffing my face with a piece. It’s that good.
And while I’m food fantasizing at work, the lemon cake throws me into the the throes of passion eating, as well.
For Father’s Day, Dad can get his own food moment (less sexy than mine, I hope) for free!
Take him to Portillo’s on Sunday and get dessert on them with any entree.
So I’m thinking an Italian Beef with chocolate cake. Or a Chicago dog with lemon cake. Or Char-broiled chicken with strawberry shortcake.
