The new Batman spin off The Joker opens in theaters on October 4th 2019.The final trailer for the movie was released yesterday!
It looks like it’s going to be a new take on the character. While Heath Ledger in The Dark Knight brought a new level of seriousness to the role, I’ve always been a fan of the more campy Joker characters. Jack Nicholson from the 1980’s Batman film is probably my favorite, but nostalgia definitely plays a role in my pick. I was 8 years old when the film was released, so he almost feels like MY Joker.
Other actors to tackle the character are Jared Leto, Mark Hamill (Luke Skywalker) is one of the more popular portrayals even though it’s only in cartoon form, Cesar Romero played the character in the classic TV show… Do you have a favorite Joker?
