Ousted Lindsey Buckingham will tour solo

Mick Fleetwood revealed that ousted Fleetwood Mac guitarist Lindsey Buckingham is heading out on a solo trek. During his Saturday night (August 4th) appearance at the Morrison Hotel Gallery at L.A.’s Sunset Marquis Hotel, where a V.I.P. audience could see some of the famed drummer’s favorite shots of the rock era, Fleetwood let it slip that the revamped Fleetwood Mac will be criss-crossing the country the same time as Buckingham.

What raises a few eyebrows is that recently, Mick Fleetwood and Stevie Nicks said that the primary reason that Buckingham was tossed from the band was that he refused to tour until late-2019. According to Pulse, Fleetwood spoke about the upcoming tour, stating, “Obviously this is a huge change with the advent of Lindsey Buckingham not being a part of Fleetwood Mac. We all wish him well and all the rest of it. In truthful language, we just weren’t happy. And I’ll leave it at that in terms of the dynamic. And he’s going out on the road more or less the same time I think not in the same places, I hope.”
