2019 Grammy Awards ratings are up from last year but lower in 18-49 demo

The ratings for the 2019 Grammy Awards are up from last year. According to The New York Post, the show, which was hosted by Alicia Keys, scored 19.9 million viewers: up slightly from last year’s 19.8 million viewers. Meanwhile the key demo of 18-49 did drop by 5%.

Last year’s show, which was hosted by James Corden, came very close to the lowest ratings CBS has ever received for a Grammy’s telecast: 19.04 million viewers in 2009.
