Wire Fox Terrier named King wins best in show at Westminster

A seven-year-old wire fox terrier named King was named Best in Show at the 143rd annual Westminster Dog Show in New York’s Madison Square Garden last night (February 12th). King is the 15th wire fox terrier to have won the nation’s most prestigious dog show, way more than any other breed, with Scottish terriers in second place with eight wins.

King will be appearing on morning TV shows, have a steak lunch at the restaurant Sardi’s, go up the Empire State Building, and have a walk-on role in Broadway’s Pretty Woman musical.
