Meet Adelaide. She’s 50 years old. And the oldest animal at the Brookfield Zoo.

Adelaide is an echidna…which is one of two mammals that lays eggs and is native to Australia and Central/South New Guinea.

She had a birthday cake topped with wax worms…yummy!!

Is it me or does her nose look a little…well…manly?
