Rare Harvest Moon will be in the sky TONIGHT, Friday the 13th

I can’t tell if this is unlucky or not…  Either way, a Harvest Moon will be in full view tonight, Friday the 13th.   The Harvest Moon happens when the moon rises early enough to be in the sky with the sunset.  This causes the moon to appear more orange, giving it that Harvest Moon look.  While the Harvest Moon appears every September each year, it’s VERY rare that it takes place on a Friday the 13th.  In fact, the next time this will happen is in 2049!  So, catch it while you can!  Peak viewing of the Harvest Moon is at 11:33PM TONIGHT!
