Foreigner Announces Live Orchestral Album And Symphony Dates

Coming on April 27th is Foreigner‘s new live CD/DVD collection, Foreigner With The 21st Century Symphony Orchestra & Chorus. The set, which was recorded last May in Lucerne, Switzerland, features 14 tracks on the CD and three more on the DVD. The collection features the band running through such classic hits as “Cold As Ice,” “Waiting For A Girl Like You,” “Feels Like The First time,” “Hot Blooded,” and many more.

Foreigner co-founder Mick Jones said in the album’s press release: “I could never have imagined when I set out to create Foreigner 40 years ago, that we’d still be touring around the world and performing the music we love all these years later. Dave Eggar and Chuck Palmer’s orchestral arrangements have shown us a new symphonic dimension of our music, which I hope our fans will enjoy.” In March and April, Foreigner will play a string of eight orchestral shows backed by the he Dave Eggar Orchestra.
