The newest primate member of the Brookfield Zoo family was just named, Ali. Baby Ali was born June 1st to parents Koola and Jojo. She is a western lowland gorilla, a species that is considered endangered with roughly 200,000 in the wild and around 350 in North American zoos. Look for Ali with her mother during your next visit to the zoo!
