Friday (July 27th) Will Mars and the moon will appear the same size?

Want to see something that only happens every 35,000 years?  You’ll only have to look up in the sky… if it’s true.  Sources such as Science Info claim that on Friday, July 27th, the 4th planet from the sun and our own natural satellite will appear to be the same size.  In layman’s terms, the moon be as big as Mars.  This phenomena called, “The Two Moons,” is caused by an illusion that makes Mars look much closer to Earth (and thereby bigger) than it really is.  Others such as Forbes are calling it that currently popular term, “Fake News.”  Our crackpot team of a DJ and his producer say, “Look up in the sky and judge for yourself on Friday!”

What we CAN confirm is that the longest lunar eclipse of the Century is tomorrow Friday.  It will last 1 hr 42 min and 57 seconds. BUT, it won’t be visible from Chicago or even North America.  Happy Friday!
