A Bob Seger-themed restaurant has been opened by a fan in Unionville, Michigan. Dennis Collon‘s restaurant, named Cat Man Do, is centered around the Michigan hero, whom Collon, a retired teacher, actually hung out with back in 1967 after a Bob Seger & The Last Heard concert. MLive.com posted, “The menu features entrees such as the ‘Silver Bullet’ burger, ‘Katmandu’ burger and ‘Bob Seger’ grilled ham and cheese. Each menu item bears a Seger reference. Beer and Club Keno are also offered at the restaurant. Collon said he checked with his lawyer to make sure he wasn’t breaking any laws in terms of licensing by using Seger’s song titles and naming the bar after his song.”
Collon, who shares a few mutual friends with Bob Seger, says Seger passed along a message to him, stating: “I guarantee we’ll be up there in some point in time. I won’t tell you when and I won’t tell you how long. But we will make a stop in there.” Check out pictures of the restaurant here.
