Cubs fan that “stole” foul ball at game from kid gave a foul ball to same kid in first inning

Don’t be too quick to judge this Cubs fan.  The Chicago Tribune and others are trying to make it know that we didn’t get to see the full story.  If you watch in the below video, all you’ll see is a player tossing a foul ball to a child and the guy behind him snagging it and giving it to his wife.

While people all over social media have been attacking this man, the people who surrounded him have come to his defense.  The mother of the very same kid who seemed to get the ball stolen from him announced in a statement that that guy helped her son get a foul ball in the first inning.  Chuck Mycoff who sat next to the man and his wife (who were celebrating their anniversary) has tweeted that the man who was accused of stealing also helped the two boys sitting next to the couple get foul balls as well.

STOP hating on this man.  He made sure all the youths around him got foul balls before grabbing one for his wife.
