The Parker Solar Probe, named for Dr. Eugene Parker, and not our own Ron Parker, launched this past Sunday, August 12th. The NASA probe will travel closer to the sun than any other before. This is due to astrophysicist, Dr. Parker’s studies from the 1950’s.
Our second attempt to launch Parker #SolarProbe will happen on #SunDay, Aug. 12 at 3:31 a.m. EDT / 12:31 a.m. PDT. 🚀☀️ Set your alarm and tune in on https://t.co/U8T7pZaI5r! pic.twitter.com/pmpKkikUtj
