Sympathy for the Devil (One Plus One), the 1968 Jean-Luc Goddard film based around the recording of the Rolling Stone‘s song, will be re-released for it’s 50th anniversary. The re-release will include Godard’s One Plus One director’s cut of the movie, the 1968 behind the scenes documentary Voices and more. The film will be available on DVD, Blu-ray and digital channels on Oct. 5th. Meanwhile, a celebratory screening will take place at the Egyptian Theater in Los Angeles on Sept. 7th, followed by a series of screenings from Sept. 13th to 19th at the Museum of Modern Art in New York.
