Bob Seger has just announced that his upcoming dates will constitute the beginning of his and the Silver Bullet Band‘s farewell tour. Seger has a string of shows booked for later this year to make up for the concerts postponed after he was forced off the road for back surgery, but the Rock and Roll and Songwriter Hall of Famer decided to tag on more shows and wind his 50-plus stage career down. “The Travelin’ Man” tour kicks off on November 21st in Grand Rapids, Michigan at Van Andel Arena.
Tickets for the new dates in Buffalo, New York; Cleveland, Ohio; Louisville, Kentucky; Fort Wayne, Indiana; Peoria, Illinois; and Grand Rapids, Michigan shows — and rescheduled concerts in Dallas and Houston, Texas — will go on sale Friday, September 28th. Tickets for newly added stops in Toledo, Ohio and Nashville, Tennessee will go on sale Saturday, September 29th. Tickets can be purchased at BobSeger.com.
Additional shows will be announced in the coming weeks, including dates in Las Vegas, Nevada; Fresno and San Diego, California; Vancouver, BC; Florida, and more. Bob Seger fan club members will have special access to purchase tickets in advance of the scheduled on-sale dates. To become a Bullet Club member, visit BobSeger.com/bulletclub.
