The country’s most expensive house is listed for sale in the exclusive Bel Air area of Los Angeles for $245 million. The more than 10-acre estate named Chartwell belonged to billionaire A. Jerrold Perenchio, the former chairman and CEO of Spanish-language network Univision, who died in 2017 at age 86.

The 25,000-square-foot mansion dates back to the 1930s, and appeared in the credits of the 1960s sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies. The estate also includes a five-bedroom guest house, a 75-foot pool with a pool house, a tennis court and covered parking with room for 40 cars.
