Over 500 of the 1000-promised new CTA cameras are up and running at stations around Chicago. The cameras are high definition, making it easier to identify any and all who would perpetrate a crime at a CTA train station. Cameras are also being upgraded with the hope of reaching a total of 4800 total cameras at CTA stations in Chicago. I’m feeling safer already!
