Why seasonal Reese’s are better than Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups

There’s a big group of people out there who claim seasonal Reese’s treats are better than Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups. They offer some pretty solid reasoning, too. For one, they claim the peanut butter to chocolate ratio is better in the seasonal treats, which are usually rather blob-shaped. The argument is that he thick edge created by the ridges in a regular Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup disrupt the peanut butter-chocolate balance.

Also, a Reese’s Egg (for example) is slightly larger than the Cup. An investigative report from All Over Albany found the Reese’s Egg they tested weighed 14 grams more than a Cup, and also contained nine more grams of peanut butter. Additionally, many argue that there’s just an allure that comes with limited-edition treat.
