Fleetwood Mac has signed on to replace the Rolling Stones at The New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival. The Stones were forced to back out of the May 2nd gig due do Mick Jagger being sidelined by a reported heart procedure. Fleetwood Mac’s appearance will take place during their brief hiatus between wrapping their North American dates and launching the band’s European leg. Fleetwood Mac had previously played Jazz Fest back in 2013.

The New Orleans Advocate posted: “Because of the Stones’ cancellation, the festival will fully refund all premium-priced general admission tickets previously purchased for May 2nd, including fees. An unspecified portion of the price of second-weekend VIP packages, which are good for all four of that weekend’s days at the Fair Grounds, will also be refunded. New, day-specific tickets for May 2nd are $75 plus fees through April 19th.”
