Some sellers on eBay think their tickets to see Avengers: Endgame in theaters is worth a lot more than just 12 dollars. People clamored to ticket sales sites and apps only to find that both were not working. Eventually, people were able to buy their tickets driving sales expectations to hit 300 million in the first weekend.
Some are trying to take advantage of the sensation. There are sellers on eBay offering tickets to the see the movie for no less than $1,000. One seller has tickets in New York for $9,199. Needless to say, these are outrageous prices. Those same sellers also provide a best offer option. I can imagine those offers being much less than the asking price.
