Does your phone influence your dining choices? Research from BRP Consulting finds that 38 percent of dining experiences now involve a smartphone or mobile device– from initial search to sharing the experience on social media. And this trend is gathering strength as millennials, who are well acquainted with smartphones, will overtake Baby Boomers as the largest generation in the U.S. next year, according to Pew Research. Also, recent research shows millennials want apps that allow them to choose, order, receive offers, and store loyalty points when it comes to quick-service restaurants.
