Scientists discover cockroaches are becoming immune to pesticides

Nothing will stop those creepy crawlers!  Scientists from Purdue University tested three classes of insecticides on cockroaches over a six month period and found roaches were able to develop an immunity to insecticides in just a couple generations.  They found that the insects could become 4 to 6 times stronger against the chemicals as the insecticides were gradually having no effect on the increasing cockroach population.  So, if the atomic bomb and insecticides won’t stop them, I guess we are stuck relying on good ole roach motels and the bottoms of our boots!
