Boeing reported Wednesday (July 24th) that its revenue had fallen 35 percent for the worst financial quarter in the company’s history amid the ongoing grounding of its 737 Max jets after two fatal crashes. Boeing is also facing a growing number of lawsuits related to the crashes of an Ethiopian Airlines 737 Max in March and Lion Air 737 Max last October, killing all on board both flights, a total of 346 people. If the 737 Max doesn’t return to the air by the end of the year it could force Boeing to further slow or stop production. Boeing has been working for months on software fixes for the plane.
