Dogs may love pig ear treats, but the CDC and FDA don’t and they say you shouldn’t either.  Apparently there have been 127 human cases of salmonellosis reported as a result of contact with pig ears. The Food and Drug Administration and Centers for Disease Control warn buyers that 26 people have been hospitalized due to pig-ear-related illness.  The treats are also said to make dogs sick.  Just stick to milk bones!
