With a haunted house for older kids and adults and Fun Barn for the whole family, there’s something for everyone at the old pumpkin farm.  Bengston’s features all sorts of activities included pig races, a pumpkin chucker, rides, a petting zoo and more haunted fun!

Basement of the Dead

Head down the creepy, creaky stairs to the spooky Basement of the Dead.  This suburban haunted house calls itself, “America’s scariest haunted house!”

Edgewater Arts Festival

Hyde Park Jazz Festival

38 jazz artists and bands will fill this weekend with fantastic music.

Get the full wine experience at this suburban event.  There will be grape stomping, cork tossing and wine to drink and bring home with you.  There will also be food, a lederhosen contest and activities for the whole family.

World Dumpling Fest

Polk Brothers Park at Navy Pier
Fans of hot baked dough, don’t miss this one!  Dumplings from all over the world will be available at this ode to dumplings.  Not only that: you’ll also be able to take in cultural music, arts and crafts and more at this free event.

Historic Berwyn’s Bungalow Tour

Check out a collection of classic houses that have been upgraded for the 2019 home dweller.  You can walk, bike or drive from location to location as you take this fun tour.

This Oktoberfest features a garage sale, a pet parade on Friday and another parade on Saturday.  The free event will have beer, food, live music and kids activities.
