The Beatles, Pink Floyd & Guardians of the Galaxy score best selling vinyl albums of the 2010’s

The Beatles‘ swan song, 1969’s Abbey Road has been listed as America’s biggest selling vinyl album of the 2010’s, with 558,000 copies sold. The Guardian reported the “Fab Four’s” one-time EMI labelmates, Pink Floyd came in second with its 1973 classic The Dark Side Of The Moon, which shifted 376,000 units, followed by 2014’s Guardians Of The Galaxy Awesome Mix Vol. 1 rounding out the Top Three with 367,000 copies.

The Beatles were the only other band to feature twice in the Top 10 list compiled by Nielsen Music, with the band’s 1967 Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band collection coming in at Number Seven with 313,000 copies sold across the decade.
