Eagles legend Don Henley helped raise more than $45,000 for a Texas food bank, simply by writing out the lyrics to the Eagle’s song “Desperado”. To be clear: it wasn’t an original document he just wrote them down LAST MONTH. Still, someone was willing to pay $33,600 for it!
He raised another $12,600 for an acoustic guitar signed by Don and the current Eagles lineup. On top of that, the auction house made a $25K donation, and they waived their fees!
