Restaurant using blow-up dolls to enforce social distancing

In times like this you got to do what you need to to keep people safe. The Open Hearth restaurant in Taylors, South Carolina was allowed to partially reopen this week with reduced capacity after closing on March 17th due to the novel coronavirus pandemic. In order to reopen, customers must sit six feet apart, and the restaurant must operate with reduced capacity.

The owners of the eatery say they don’t want the restaurant to look empty, so they are filling the open seats with blow-up dolls. They say they got “the G-rated kind” of inflatable dolls from Amazon, and dressed them up like customers, and add that they’re being careful to observe all of the state’s guidelines
